an eight hour sleep. The wool in our comforter has the ability to
absorb large amounts of moisture without leaving you feeling wet
and clammy. No other fiber does this as well as wool. The wool comforter
is also naturally flame resistant and meets state flammability regulations.
The wool used in our comforter will spring back into shape and bend
back into themselves some 20,000 times, without breaking (compared
to 3,200 times for cotton).

350
or 500 gsm Comforter Bedding Weights
Our
wool comforter bedding is made in two weights: 350 gsm and 500 gsm.
Grams per metre (gsm) is the amount of wool (by weight) inside the
cotton quilting, in a square metre. The 350 gsm is approx. equal
to the warmth of two good quality blankets, but lighter weight of
course. The 500 gsm is approx. equal to the warmth of 3-4 good quality
blankets.
The
350 gsm wool comforter is a three season wool duvet, but will be
fine year round in a normal heated house or in warmer climates.
The 500 gsm comforter is a 4 season wool duvet, and is the absolute
top of the line for wool bedding.
Because
wool is a natural insulator the duvet is able to be made light in
weight so they are exceptionally comfortable to sleep under. The
size that you prefer is a matter of personal choice. The most popular
is the 500 gsm weight wool comforter for temperate climates and
the 350 gsm comforter is best for warmer climates.

to keep it clean and help it last for many years.

No
cold spots!
Wool
comforter bedding does not develop cold spots. The quilting holds
the wool in place so there are no hot and cold spots. No feathers!
The wool will not move around.
Cleaning
Instructions - Comforter Bedding
The
comforters can be hand washed with a wool detergent before using
a gentle spin cycle or drycleaned. They can be hand washed in a
tub which is best for the larger sizes. They are not suitable to
put in a dryer.
